Women’s Bobsleigh Season Best Ever
After the best season ever for Australian Women’s Bobsleigh, the girls have been enjoying a well earnt break in the off-season. Training, however will resume very soon with the girls running another recruitment drive for exciting new recruits to the team (more on this shortly). Unfortunately, however, the training push-sled was damaged in the recent floods in Brisbane so a new one will need to be built, but the girls are unphased – setting their sights on breaking the Top 10 in the World next year. And further to that – an Olympic Medal in Sochi in 2014.
Great Finish to a Great Season
The girls have placed 14th in their final race of the World Cup in a fantastic finish to the season. In a very strong field of 22 of the best Women’s Bobsleigh teams the girls have finished off the season in competitive style and are now setting their sights on cracking the Top 10 next season. We can’t wait!
